Care Manager turned Yoga Teacher

Some years ago, I started my career as a nurse and worked as a Care Manager in London, but after a decade of working in the health and social care industry, I left due to stress and anxiety. I was burnt out and on the verge of depression. Over the years, I  noticed a gap in the care system for holistic wellness. A wellness program for care professionals like me that requires mental and wellbeing support.  With that, I was inspired to create programs that can inspire people to take back their power and their health into their own hands. I eventually transitioned into yoga after experiencing a profound change in my physical and mental wellbeing. My personal experience and wellness journey inspired me to become a certified Yoga teacher and created Vitality Yoga.

In the last few years I have helped people to increase their calmness in their day to day lives; improve their focus; reduce their lower back pain; lower blood pressure; improve posture; improve mood; improve sleep; increase strength, flexibility mobility, and experience an overall profound change in their physical and mental wellbeing.

I am also the author of the upcoming book called. “Wisdom from a Yogi: 9 Secrets to Health, Happiness and High Performance.” Since then I deliver daily yoga classes, meditation, and breathing techniques to my local community, local government offices, health care professionals as well as nationwide with the Department of Education’s stronger from home program - an online wellness series program. My philosophy is that there’s more to our human potential and that we as humans are capable of healing ourselves through the mind and body connection. My approach to wellness is for you to feel great in your own body and to help you explore your full potential.
